Rustic engagment session

I love when my couples have a country location in mind for their engagement session to give their images that rustic feel. This property had it all... barn, field, long grass, dirty road, and beautiful lighting. Combine that with adorable dogs = the perfect combination for an evening engagement session!! Emilie and Brock brought their mothers along to help with the dogs in between shots which was super helpful. We didn't anticipate the local farmer plowing the dry dirt fields behind us causing a huge dirt storm causing us to take cover but we went with it :)

Brock admitted that he had never had his photo taken before professionally. So of course I totally took advantage of that. Had him whisper ridiculous things in Emilie's ear, walk weird and even lay down in the dirt field. He went with it and we had such a great time! What I loved most was he was an absolute pro at showing his love for Emilie throughout the session and is shows ten folds in the images <3 I can't wait for their August 2020 wedding!!

**Update** Sadly due to Covid-19 Emilie and Brock have decided to move their wedding to August 2021. Sadly it seems to be happening for a lot of weddings this year. We will get through <3
