The Pie Eyed Monk Brewery makes a beautiful wedding venue in the Kawartha Lakes.

My first meeting of Stacy and Steve was when we set out on a beautiful summer (hot muggy and buggy) evening for their engagement photos. I trekked them through a rugged forest in Norland but they were totally chill and super easy going.

I knew we were going to get along great!

Stacy is an amazing DIY creator! She put so much time and effort into every single detail of her wedding day and it showed! All the décor, stationary, wine glasses, candle sticks, welcome signs, card box, etc etc etc!! Even the wedding day itinerary binder was pretty amazing!! I think the whisky jugs with the seating chart labeled on them was one of my favourite things!

Stacy was escorted by her son down the aisle. Her father sadly wasn't able to make it, but he dressed up and watched the ceremony via live stream!

I think one of the sweetest moments was when Stacy and Steve took turns expressing a heartfelt speech to their new stepchildren. Steve's daughters' reactions to Stacy's kind words were so beautiful it brought tears to their eyes (and mine too!).
