Sykora and Jordan | The Ginkgo Tree Wedding

The Ginkgo Tree is one of my favourite wedding venues.. seriously! The grounds are absolutely stunning and spacious for guests to enjoy! It was the August long weekend. I awoke to a phone call. A photographer with a medical emergency... we are human things happen. Thankfully we have an amazing community full of fantastic photographers that are to help in situations such as this. So of course I told them don't even worry, I got you. I sprung out of bed, got dressed and ready within 30 minutes. Flew to the studio, grabbed my gear and headed to the getting ready location with a little time to snap a few photos of Sykora and her ladies before heading off to the ceremony. Sykora was the most super chill bride.. the whole situation didn't even phase her.. she knew everything would be cool. I was quickly filled in about details and begun to do my thing. I was pleasantly surprised to see some past wedding clients there including the grooms sister in which I photographed their wedding 10 years ago! Insane!

The Ginkgo Tree was a new wedding venue for me. Upon my arrival I was blown away by the details that went into this wedding. Talk about your Pinterest perfect wedding! Rustic wedding to the nines! This wedding venue was a prime spot for photography. Wildflowers planted in the field, apple trees down a path, a cute little cabin, barn for dancing, a gorgeous ceremony location. Every where you looked it just sparked beauty!
